One thing that is certain in our lives is constant change. Stepping out of our comfort zone gives us the opportunity to challenge ourselves in new ways. After working full-time for almost 20 years, I decided to try my hand at becoming an independent consultant.

I believe that my experience, determination, and constant drive to grow will be helpful to you and that I can support your vision of a thriving business. I am writing these words in March 2024, after travelling around Europe and South America for the past year.

Today, I am filled with energy and passion, and I am ready to collaborate.

March 2015 – January 2023
Member of the Management Board, Director of the network

During my tenure, I managed 2770 grocery shops in the franchise system under the Groszek/Euro-Sklep brand, generating a gross retail turnover of PLN 7 billion.

I managed a team of over 100 people.
I carried out organisational restructuring, moved the sales department from Bielsko-Biała to Warsaw and created new, effective sales and purchasing structures.

I carried out an effective negotiation process,which resulted in favourable offers in the B2B and B2C areas.
I introduced new standards to the marketing department and the billing and operations department.

Wdrożyłam nowe programy motywacyjne dla doradców klienta, aby osiągnąć założone wyniki biznesowe. New incentive programmes were implemented for customer advisers to achieve business results.
A total of 800 new shops for both brands were added to the network during this period.

We integrated 80% of outlets by volume and 94% of outlets by value into the POS system, an innovative platform enabling the integration of independent retail shops. Thanks to this change, we could execute our business objectives even more accurately and support the independent retail market in Poland.
We implemented a mobile application for the GR/ES chain and a private label line for the Groszek and Euro-Sklep chains.

We introduced a new visual identity for the internal and external shops of the Groszek chain in 2020 and Euro-Sklep in 2022, changing the logo and developing consistent marketing communication across all manual and digital media.

Journey around the world

A 5-month journey through America, Asia and the Oceania Archipelago

There comes a time in everyone's life when they have to find a balance between their daily responsibilities and the pursuit of their dreams. Work, an important element in shaping our identity and achieving success, should not overshadow our personal desires and aspirations.

In my case, that moment came when I decided to take time to explore the world and myself. I spent a month in New York, a city that dazed me with its energy and possibilities. Then, for four months, I backpacked through Burma, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia (visiting several of its islands), Australia, New Zealand and Thailand.

This experience was one of the most exciting in my life. It made me realise that we live to realise our dreams; they give our existence a deeper meaning and motivate us to keep going. Life becomes fuller, and every new day brings the desire to be more involved and experience the world more intensely.

September 2010 – September 2014
Strategic Negotiator

I worked as a Strategic Negotiator at Eurocash S.A. in Poznań, in a newly established business unit in the EC S.A. Group. It was the Strategic Negotiations department that covered negotiations on behalf of the whole company and all the companies belonging to the EC.S.A. Group, in the area of cooperation with producers and suppliers.

I was responsible for 20% of the category turnover and 40% of the implementation of the Eurocash Group total negotiation plan.

My responsibilities included developing a fresh culture of cooperation between various business units belonging to the EC Group S.A.; negotiating annual contracts for the EC Group S.A.; negotiating acquisitions made by the EC Group S.A. in the area of cooperation with producers and suppliers; I exercised control over the implementation of contractual arrangements by all business units belonging to the EC Group S.A., producers and suppliers.

My task was also to resolve any strategic issues that arose during cooperation with suppliers and producers I managed and marketed house brands from subordinate categories belonging to the EC S.A. Group. I approved price lists for branded and private label products on behalf of the entire company. I negotiated large retail promotional campaigns targeting all 15,000 EC S.A. customers.

I participated in elite negotiations with suppliers during the Eurocash S.A. – Tradis S.A. merger.

May 2009 – August 2010
Industry Group Manager

As an Industry Group Manager at Eurocash S.A. in Poznań, I managed product categories directly related to my employees, such as Beverages, Sweets and Snacks.

I implemented budget plans at the expected level.
I prepared category analyses to optimise the assortment, using AC Nielsen data. I implemented the pricing strategy and organised B2B and B2C promotional campaigns for ‘ABC’ grocery shops. I conducted yearly negotiations and introduced private labels from subordinate categories.

I held regular meetings with the suppliers to exchange information on the market situation and to solve current problems.
I was responsible for more than 20% of turnover and 32% of the cash margin of the total EC C&C budget.

For my execution of business objectives, I was annually ranked as one of the top Industry Group Manager leaders.

October 2006 - April 2009
Branch Manager

As a Branch Manager at Eurocash S.A. in Poznań, I managed such categories as Soft Drinks, Dairy, Beverages, Sweets, Snacks and Biscuits. I was responsible for over 20% of turnover and 24% of the cash margin of total EC C&C sales.

I implemented budget plans at the expected level. I conducted annual negotiations with suppliers and manufacturers. I was ranked as one of the top three Category Managers every year for my work.

September 2003 – September 2006
Junior Branch Manager

As a Junior Branch Manager at Eurocash S.A. in Poznań, I managed such categories as Chocolate, Sweets and Pet Food. I was responsible for 9% of turnover and 10% of the cash margin of total sales.

I implemented budget plans at the expected level. I conducted annual negotiations with suppliers and manufacturers. I was ranked as one of the top three Category Managers every year for my work.
